Photographers Mike Arrison and Joe Piette discuss some of their favorite photos on display at the How We Stay Free exhibit at the Tilt Institute for the Contemporary Image in North Philly. The exhibit features the work of Philly-area photographers and media artists who have documented and participated in decades of community resistance to racial, economic, and political injustice.

Philly - tomorrow is Election Day! This isn’t just another primary - it’s a decision that will shape Philly’s future for years to come.

With Congressman Dwight Evans stepping down, Philly voters will choose new representation in Washington for the first time in nearly a decade. And in a district that heavily leans Democratic, tomorrow’s primary will likely decide the race.

As national politics stay gridlocked, more decisions around healthcare, housing, schools, public safety, and funding are being felt closest to home - making local elections more consequential than ever.
