🌀Pedro Gossler is a Brazilian interdisciplinary artist based in Rotterdam, NL whose practice spans photography, video, and animation. His work investigates memory and the archive in post-internet times, examining how digital cultures reshape the ways histories are recorded, transmitted, and reconstructed.
🌀What happens when politics becomes a form of fandom? For Ambient Propaganda, Gossler presents "Fanfictional Politics", a multi-channel installation and video essay on how speculation, roleplay, and myth-making shape collective belief online. Taking inspiration from Walter Benjamin’s Arcades Project, the work adopts montage to mirror the fractured logic of conspiracy. Here, fragments are linked by the thinnest strands of causality, dissolving the boundary between fact and fiction and revealing how political myths are co-authored in real time by online crowds.
