I like French fries and disability justice
We had such a great time at the @renaissancepleasurefaire !! I loved rolling around and seeing all the booths, shows & interactive exhibits. (The 🔪 throwing was pretty cathartic) @patrickivison hit his yearly max on honey samples. The accessibility was a little tough to navigate, so next time I think I would bring a power assist or power chair.
This weekend is the last weekend to go, so if you’re on the fence, now’s your chance! ❤️🎪
[Video Description]: clips from Joci’s day at the Renaissance Faire, an outdoor medieval times style festival.Joci, a Latina woman with dark curly hair, is wearing a beige dress with a red and gold corset and navigating in her manual wheelchair. Patrick, a white man with long dark blonde hair pulled out of his face, wears a burgundy peasant shirt and uses a power wheelchair. Farah, an Arabic woman with long dark hair, wears a white dress with a blue apron dress over top, and uses a manual wheelchair.

Yesterday marked 10 years. I still make impulsive and questionable decisions, but at least now it’s just for the love of the game 😜
About six months into sobriety I saw a comedian say that “having an addiction is embarrassing because something as lame as a Natty Light could ruin my life.” I’m sure for him it was a joke in passing, but it’s stuck with me this whole time. I’ve seen addiction take everything from people, and my behavior and habits were following the same path. Sometimes I still wish I could have a casual beer with buddies or wine with dinner, but i know it wouldn’t end there. If you’re considering sobriety, I don’t regret this decision at all. #sober

Hi everyone! @patrickivison the co-producer and colorist here to talk about the color in The Invalids.
This world is a dystopian future and the specific hospital and challenge settings are cold, scary, and isolated, so I intentionally pushed those to look sickly. The only people that look “healthy” are the Elites, watching in their comfy mansion. What you see here is the difference between what the camera filmed and the final result.
If you aren’t familiar, “log” is a setting in most cameras (and a lot of phones!) It takes all of the light and color information captured on your camera’s sensor and compresses it without reducing quality. The files are much bigger than just filming regularly, but it allows you to manipulate the exposure, contrast, and color A TON!
Let me know in the comments if you have a favorite shot or if you have questions about color!
