This was a surreal moment for me — the first book my publishing company @newwavepress.co produced is in Times Square.

When I released my first book with a major publisher in 2017 (Rich20Something), I was upset that we got so close to hitting the New York Times list and just missed by a small margin.

That chip on my shoulder is part of the reason I started New Wave — because I knew there was more that publishers could do to support their authors.

Missed the Times list, but made Times square. I’ll take it.

I could not have been happier to share this moment with @jamesswanwick, my friend of 10+ years and all around great guy who has been instrumental in helping me on my journey.

His book CLEAR is a guide to help high achievers quit drinking. I love that the work we’re doing is having such a positive impact on the world as well as being immensely personally fulfilling.

This new phase of my career feels great. I’m incredibly excited about all the projects we have in the pipeline. At least 20 more books will be dropping over the next 12 months.

I’m making a living doing what I love. My wife, mom, dad, and grandma are proud.

That’s winning, baby!

This was a surreal moment for me — the first book my publishing company @newwavepress.co produced is in Times Square.

When I released my first book with a major publisher in 2017 (Rich20Something), I was upset that we got so close to hitting the New York Times list and just missed by a small margin.

Did you know that my first book made $500,000+ the day it dropped....but I didn't see a dollar 💵?

So this is pretty cool...just checked the stats. As of today, @jamesswanwick's book CLEAR is selling 10-20 copies per day across all formats ORGANICALLY since it's release in April of this year.

We haven’t turned on any paid traffic yet. We haven’t engaged any influencers to push it. We haven’t gotten any corporate bulk sales. This is all being driven via word of mouth because the book itself is a stellar product. That puts it in the top 2-3% of books who sell that many copies in their lifetime. Imagine once we turn on the ad spend. Woof.

This means 10-20 people per day are deeply engaging with James' message of the alcohol-free lifestyle for FREE...and these readers are that much closer to working with his team to change their lives. All because they are connecting with his work through the book. These are the absolute best types of leads to have, especially when you're offering a high-ticket product or service.

Keep in mind: you don't need to sell that many copies of a book to make a ton of money on the back end. If you are charging thousands to work with people, it doesn't take long for readers to snowball into hundreds of thousands...or millions of dollars in ROI.

I know because I've seen it happen in my own career.
