Happy New Year people ✨
The first day of the year feels like the perfect moment to share what I’ve been up to alongside DJing and all the other creative things I enjoy.

Your girl is now a qualified Personal Trainer. Yes, she’s a multifaceted babe and here’s whyyy -

Ever since I was a kid I’ve always loved moving, from dance classes to theatre to the gym. Some might call it ADHD, I call it just having a LOT of energy 😂

But movement and expression has always been at the core of my passions. DJing is a way for me to create moments where people can move freely, feel good and express themselves unapologetically.

I care deeply about people feeling their best, especially when they’re around me, and tbh that’s what pushed me to get my head down and qualify as a PT.

Introducing @movewithrietta , a space where we can channel our energy into science-backed physical movement, while merging my world of music, joy and community into one.

Follow and expect bite-size fitness content, music-led and community events, 1-1 & group training, especially for anyone who wants to make a change but doesn’t like the rigid and cold aspect of gym culture and of course my details if you’re interested in training with me 🏋🏽‍♀️

The energy last weekend was so high!!
So proud of everyone who ran the London Marathon, especially the ones I know 🥹 it was so inspiring to watch! Well done!
Supporting friends and family in the ways I could from a 5k shakeout to cheering on the sidelines, a few DJ sets and teaching prep fitness classes!
Was truly good energy all weekend

Not every day will look the same.
The reality is, diary’s change, priorities shift.
The goal is to not neglect your fitness because of it but instead build it in.
It’s always better to do 100% of what you have capacity to do as opposed to little to no %

1) choose an environment that doesn’t deter you from your other responsibilities e.g. a closet gym, home, or outdoors if weather permits
2) decide on what you want to work on, even if it’s not your exact split / routine you had planned for that day, optimise and or pivot
3) stick to the time you carved out - nothing over or under

First time running with @runnpac & @urunnofficial
T’was fun and at times, quite challenging
Will for sure revisit, next time with more than crunchy nut and a banana to hold me 🥣🍌😂

If you’re based in that side of London and have a free Thursday evening I would recommend! It’s suitable for all levels and paces and they motivate you to keep going 🫶🏽

I spent the day surfing with family and friends yesterday and it challenged my body in ways that felt so refreshing!Balance, Power, Resilience and Strategy are skills that would have you moving at your best when surfing 🏄🏽‍♀️ - still a long way to go (I caught one wave out of the whole time 😂) so defo want to take up lessons now!

When it comes to the classes I lead, I like to focus on two main objectives for you 1) have fun 2) feel / see results!

Wellness should be for everyone. And that’s what these strength and conditioning HIIT classes are about - showing up for yourself, alongside people who are doing the same.
