It is strange how the dust of those long days in Guwahati still feels fresh, almost vivid enough to touch. Two years have passed since we lived and breathed the production of our little short, but I still carry the nervous energy of watching Manoranjan Kalita’s story come to life for the very first time.

​I am beyond happy to share that "Aabiskar - The Debut" is continuing its journey. After the warmth of our premiere at KIFF 2025, the film is traveling south to meet the audience in Kerala at the 18th SiGNS Film Festival. There is something deeply moving about seeing this story of a man’s "final innings" inspired by the vulnerability of characters like Satyajit Ray's Patol Babu Filmstar travel so far from where we first imagined it.

​To the team, youheld the heart of this story together when it was still just a dream on paper. I am so grateful to have shared those days with you.
