heheh thanks for 500 followers! I started this account primarily for logistical reasons (had to stop hard spamming my main stories w/ clips from the function), partially for archival reasons (because what is ballroom w/o its archives), and eventually for creative reasons (love me a lil edit)! When I started my ballroom journey in 2023 as a an active participant I was so excited to learn something new after every function and hear people tell stories from yore, and once I realized I had become a clipiana I thought I’d look back and see all the people whose clips I had before I even knew their name. And I think there’s room in ballroom media for that too. This also became a much needed creative outlet for me (as I try to return to my other practices) through making these edits and learning about different categories. Everything and everybody starts somewhere, but there won’t always be a clip to refer to (... unless? 👀)

Looking back at all the old photos and videos our friends have sent over the past few weeks makes me think of something I wrote in our good sis @audou’s yearbook and just all the things BFFs talk about at all the ages and stages present here. “Well, when we get married we are OBVIOUSLY going to be each other’s bridesmaids!!!” 👯‍♀️

You eventually left socials and I was never the best at keeping up on WhatsApp (but it was ok, that made two of us 😅), and after all this time, we made good on that promise.

We didn’t know it would be the last day together in this plane of existence, but I’d like to think the Universe let us give each other one last gift. Jerejef. #ToujoursEnBlutooth
