Figure montante du jazz français, Thomas Gaucher séduit par un jeu de guitare à la fois sensible et virtuose. Avec Gabriel Sauzay (contrebasse) et Loup Godfroy (batterie), il explore les frontières entre jazz, folk et blues, dessinant des paysages sonores poétiques et épurés. Leur album Rusty Ladder, enregistré avec Pierre de Bethmann, révèle une écriture fine et imagée, nourrie par la simplicité et la profondeur des émotions.
