POSTMAP CLUB // MAY 2026

Synth pop, shoegaze and dream pop - this month's #PostMap club is a meticulous collection of indie in its various forms, and smothered in beautiful reverb. Featuring two familiar Lost Map faves, and introducing a brand new act to the label, with their very first release.

✨ @firestationsband - 'An Apparition' - The triumphant return of Walthamstow's finest. Following the intimate, folk-inflected 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘴, which was largely written and recorded by frontman Michael Cranny, the full band return with a insistent synth pop banger.

✨ @_sulka - 'Meteorite' - the latest single from the Glasgow-based indie rock outifit led by the prodigiously talented songwriter Lukas Clasen. From the upcoming album 𝘉𝘶𝘵𝘦, which we're releasing on 17th July.

✨ @dovetailedband - 'Kitchen' - debut single from a brand new project that combines the innumerable talents of Kim Grant (aka Raveloe), and Simon Liddell (known from some of the pillars of the Scottish indie scene - Olympic Swimmers, Frightened Rabbit, Poster Paints). 'Kitchen' takes a more ethereal route than some of those other projects - all reverb-soaked textures and soft, intimate details, like you’re somehow inside the song as it unfolds. Headphones on, eyes closed.

Following a stunning show at The Doublet (Glasgow's cosiest pub) last night, the debut EP from @dovetailedbandis now available to order online.

@painting_band are a band constantly at play, and always exploring new possibilities in their sound.
