If you love local, you probably already know about Camberwell-based @jmccleanclan who gig round town and at festivals further afield with their unique Gospel/Blues/Rock sound. Who've also done a couple of fab @colcrisisconcerts events! But how many of you know the band's backstory? Their '90s New Zealand incarnation was The Early Days Blues Band which remain legendary on the North Island (Taranaki). Early Days still get airplay in NZ and recently invited John McClean to come back and tour! The original Kiwi ensemble included @jamesdaniell01 on harmonica who later also shifted to London and now fronts his own Americana/Blues band, The @longstringhawkers. Come out for a special 'Early Days Revisited' night this week when The Clan and the Hawkers both take to the historic @ivyhousenunhead stage, Thursday April 17th.
