i am so lucky to call @pacecommercialdance my home. this first year has been nothing short of incredible and i’m so glad i get to be around some of the most inspiring dancers and humans i’ve ever met. a huge thank you to my senior mentor @matt__rossetti for all of your help, guidance, and support throughout this freshmeet process. truly such a gift to have you as my mentor. also a huge thank you to @lgfunk2 @sjovo1 and @hollyevans141 for constantly pushing me to be the best version of myself that i possibly can and to step outside of my comfort zone. i feel this solo really embodied that and i cannot wait to continue growing these next three years. class of 202ATE forever!

“The Carousel of Grief” - Choreo I Final
.
Grief is a deep, powerful feeling of sorrow that is traditionally broken down into five smaller stages:
-Denial
-Anger
-Bargaining
-Depression
-Acceptance
“The Carousel of Grief” tackles these five stages through an acapella tap piece where every dancer is in a different stage on a journey towards personal acceptance.
