Providing a platform for young, up-and-coming musicians from around the world and fostering a new generation of musicians is a cornerstone of the Ludwigsburg Festival. Liya Wang is one of these young musicians 🔥

The pianist and organist recently won first prize at the 2025 International ARD Music Competition, studies at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, and has already performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues. In honor of World Piano Day, Liya tells us about her very personal connection to the piano, what music means to her, and what you can look forward to at her concerts.
