Children of the noi(r)se, let's gather for the first time at @lucia.vienna and sweat the November doom away with two of Berlin's hottest contemporary experimental punk bands:

ⓅⓁⒶⓉⓉⒺⓃⒷⒶⓊ & ⓁⒺⓂⓄⓃⒼⓇⒶⒷ

PLATTENBAU is an international Berlin-based foursome that fuses elements of post-punk, noise rock and wave into a dark and intense potion. Their sound blends robotic drums, gothy basslines, mystical guitars and paranoid synths into a mood akin to a 90s VHS horror soundtrack, tied together with deep, brooding vocals. The result is a sonic experience that feels both chaotic and meticulously crafted, on brand with their slogan “Tight, loose and evil”. The band formed in 2011, inspired by the brutalist architecture of east Berlin’s post-Soviet landscape. A mainstay of the Berlin underground scene, over the years the band evolved in members and instrumentation until solidifying its current lineup: Lewis Lloyd (Vox/Synth), Sally Brown (Bass/Vox), Brandon Walsh (Drums) and Jesper Munk (Guitar/Synth). Following their signing to Oliver Ackermann’s (A Place To Bury Strangers/Death By Audio) label Dedstrange in 2021, Plattenbau released the studio albums “Shape / Shifting” (2022) “Net Prophet” (2023) and now "Cursed" (2025)

Known for their raw and authentic live shows, LEMONGRAB originally formed in Montréal, have been Berlin-based since 2020 and have made a quick yet lasting impression on the wider European underground scene. Cathartic, Stooges-inspired art punk. Pylon's weirdo-pop hooks resurface on a familiar Bikini Kill-esque territory. Back in Vienna with a new record and still constantly questioning systems of beliefs, which often lead to existential angst.

Live with band line-up 💫

Kevin 12 Volt and the Chargers is the first show of the solo project of (in our opinion) Big Boss Playa Kevin Namiotko aka DJ Gusch aka Friend 🫶 Together with his backing band “The Chargers”, they’ll deliver fiery ROCK MUSIC right into your brain 🗣️

Family Fodder, Pavement und Oma Hans sind Inspiration, Musikrezensienten sprechen jedoch von dem unehelichen Kind von Udo Lindenberg und Ian McKaye.
Mit beidem können sich die Steifen arrangieren, denn die leichte Schulter spielt den Powerchord am besten.

Formé à Montréal et désormais basé à Berlin, Lemongrab balance un garage punk cru, cathartique et déjanté. Leur son navigue entre la nervosité arty de Pylon, la rage familière de Bikini Kill et l’énergie brute des Stooges. Sur scène, c’est un condensé d’urgence et d’humour tordu, un uppercut dansant qui fait fondre les frontières entre weirdo-pop et punk garage.

Trois agent.e.s cosmiques qui viennent de 2055, se nourrissant de disques des B-52s, Devo, The Slits, tout en matant des films de genre.
