We wanted to take advantage of the somewhat quieter days to say thank you <3:
The visual dimension is a central component of Motten’s artistic work and live performance. Our visual concept team, Raquel @raquelzens and Nick @nick.ogro, play a key role in shaping and maintaining this aspect. They contribute to the development of concept scripts and the visual direction of our music videos, helping to ensure a coherent artistic narrative across the project. In addition, they are responsible for stage design, styling, and outfit selection, and support the project by connecting us with photographers and other creative collaborators on site. Their commitment and creative perspective have been essential in establishing a strong and consistent visual identity for the project.
Motten was founded as a duo, and this remains the core image we present on our social media platforms. As our compositions evolved and became more complex, we realized that we weren’t able to fully translate the music into a live setting. Lara @wendy.thunder and Wadim @there.there__ joined us to support our live performances, allowing us to focus more on vocals and other key elements. Both are experienced musicians with many years of work in various bands and projects. Their professionalism not only strengthens our live shows but also brings valuable insight into navigating the complexities of the music industry as emerging artists. Also while mixing the songs with @there.there__ in Cologne, Wadim added elements to our songs to make them more whole and versatile. He quickly understood the topic and vibe of the project and supported us from day one.
