In celebration of Women’s History Month - “Legacy Isn’t Given.” Here’s to us earning the wins we so rightfully deserve.
Last year I had the opportunity to direct some incredibly inspiring female Olympians for a campaign that aired earlier this year. While putting together the puzzle pieces of my directors cut, I watched a lot of clips from the 2026 Milano-Cortina games; out of all of the highlights and announcer moments, “41 years old, two young kids and still competing” is the one line that stood out to me the most. As a woman it intrigued me that, despite being the most prolific in our fields, it’s still believed that our age and motherhood should somehow be the things that slow us down.
I wanted to create something that spoke to the contrary. The things that should have made us slower, weaker, less driven are often the very things that put the most powerful batteries on our back.
