Ce samedi on accueille H.AL.I.C pour la dernière d'OVERVIEW 📺 Acronyme de « Heuristic ALgoritmic Interactive Computing ». H.AL.I.C c’est un duo gantois de livecoders, tous deux membres du collectif Lambdasonic. Ils font partie des pionniers du livecoding en Belgique depuis 2013.
~ ~ C’est quoi Overview ? ~ ~
Inspiré par le concept des radios communautaires comme The Lot Radio (NY) ou Kiosk (BXL), ce projet transpose le concept de performances en vitrine dans le domaine visuel, créant une synergie unique entre l’espace urbain et l’art numérique.
Là où traditionnellement le DJ est dans le feu des projecteurs et le VJ relayé en régie, ici on inverse les codes: l’artiste visuel et sa performance vidéo live sont au centre du dispositif.

Op 28 april gaan we weer algo raven. Vanaf 21u is er een gratis feestje @muziekcentrumkinkystar met wilde klanken die je benen in beweging zetten op een lijntje code 🤔
Wil je er toch wat dieper induiken?
Om 18u is er een workshop met Alex McLean & Lucy Cheesman, een korte maar krachtige introductie tot Strudel.
Alles is gratis, maar inschrijven voor de workshop is verplicht.

Samen met @nerdlab9000 @muziekcentrumkinkystar @personmakes @opendexdj organiseren we een workshop live coderen met niemand minder dan Alex McLean en Lucy Cheesman.
Tijdens deze korte sessie (18u–19u30) krijg je een crash course in TidalCycles via Strudel, een browsergebaseerde omgeving.
Of je nu al ervaring hebt of nog helemaal nieuw bent, iedereen is welkom! Er is geen voorkennis nodig, enkel goesting om te experimenteren.
Inschrijven is aangeraden om je plaats te garanderen. link in bio of via nerdlab.be.
De workshop gaat door in de Kinky Star. Breng zeker je eigen laptop mee.
Na de workshop is er ook een algorave vanaf 21u in de Kinky Star.
