What a tremendous performance by Henry Field of @oxforduniboxing on the first ever Stanford University boxing show.

Skill, preparation, determination and perfect execution of a game plan were among the many attributes Henry displayed on a memorable night.

While I thought he had done more than enough to win against a tough opponent, the experience of showing what he can do in front of an audience on foreign soil will give Henry great confidence in the future.

It was both a pleasure and privilege to be in his corner, and a reminder that amateur boxing is always a learning experience.

What a great pleasure to meet @usykaa in Portugal last week. Not only is he an all time great, he is a wonderful person, a credit to the sport of boxing and to his country. A true hero.

I was so happy to be part of @buckinghamboxingclub first home show on Sunday. Great boxing, entertainment and sportsmanship were on display from all the clubs involved. It was a wonderful advertisement for the sport of amateur boxing.

Rarely have I been so happy as I was today visiting my daughter at university. After coming so close to death, she is loving life. Words cannot express how proud I am of her.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff at the hospital that treated my daughter after her accident. And to everyone who contributed to my appeal - we raised £750 for the staff on the Surgical Emergency Unit.

A big thank you to all the staff at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for looking after my daughter for the last seven weeks. We are full of admiration for the work they do.
