Jefta van Dinther will be opening up DIORAMA and sharing his process of the new work Mercury Rising. The [NODE] format grants the artistic community, as well as other audiences, an opportunity to gain insight into the creative process of upcoming work and the possibility to engage in a feedback around the work.

Mercury Rising is created in collaboration with and performed by Dawn Jani Birley, Rita Mazza and Lukas Malkowski. The work, in its preliminary phases, is charting both ancient and future non-linear languages, diving into the relationship between communication, gesture and movement. The work uses the body as the door of perception and as the conductor of agency to navigate a politicised and entangled semiotic world.
Created for both hearing and deaf audiences Mercury Rising addresses the complexity and physicality of human communication on the brink of a paradigm shift.

Duration: approx 60 min

After the showing we invite the audience for a short feedback session in the studio.
