Our first bar takeover of 2026 — and we’re starting big.

Flying in from Singapore, the team from Cat Bite Club are stepping behind our bar for one night only.

A cult favourite among bartenders, Cat bite Club has made a name for itself as a neighbourhood bar with a serious spirits obsession — a temple to agave and Asian rice spirits, where tequila, mezcal, shochu and baijiu take centre stage.

We also have the amazing @katiepearson.dj DJing and the 1st taco pop up by @diego_huertac x Las Weras

#Lookingback to that gentle evening when @jessejvida from @catbiteclub, one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars took over the #IkanBar, bringing measured craft, thoughtful flavors, and an unspoken rhythm shaped by the sea. As daylight softened and conversations lingered, each pour became an expression of time, place, and calm. An evening defined not by excess, but by coastal indulgence.

It has been a hell of a last 15 months since we opened our doors at @catbiteclub here in Singapore.It’s really a trip to see that our cozy little neighbourhood agave & rice watering hole is now recognised as the 56th @50bestbars in the world.It wasn’t something we expected in the slightest, but we are stoked and humbled that the experience has had an affect on our esteemed peers in this industry.

For @a_new_lowe and I, we wanted to have a place with engaged hospitality, a place where like minded drinkers can hang out and enjoy the offerings and ambiance of the bar…join the club if you will.

All that said everything is about the people, the staff and the guests.We feel this relationship is a 50/50 focus from our business.The guest is not always right, but we do what we can within reason to elevate and personalise everyone’s experience in the bar.The working place must be safe, transparent and collaborative.These are some of the pillars of Cat Bite.We work with honest hospitality and have the pleasure of serving so many regulars that continue see us religiously.Many of whom have truly helped support the business, especially in the early days when the bar was much quieter they kept us afloat.

We are extremely lucky to have such an amazing team, simple as that.Helmed by our first ever employee and now head bartender @nachoerika they are the core of what makes the place special.Not every day is easy, there are challenges always, but over all it’s truly been the best working experience of my life.This is because of the people.Thanks to the 50 best team and all of the support of fellow bar folks, especially here in Singapore.we look forward to what the futures holds for Cat Bite Club.
