Inga Sama found her way behind the decks after years immersed in electronic music and inspired by DJ friends organising rave parties. She started about two years ago and collaborated with inspiring collectives that eventually pushed her to start her own project, @zwamp.party
Drawing from 90s and modern trance, prog and psychedelic influences, her sets are built with a focus on flow and long-form mixing, keeping the dancefloor locked in over time.

How did you start playing music and what drives you?
I found my way behind the decks after years immersed in electronic music and inspired by DJ friends organising rave parties. I started about two years ago and collaborated with inspiring collectives that eventually pushed me to start my own project, a queer party focussed on progressive sounds that I’ll launch in May.

What makes a good dance floor?
A good dance floor is all about energy you can actually feel. It’s not too crowded, so people have space to move, but it’s still connected. You see people smiling, making eye contact, communicating through the music without even speaking. Everyone is just happy to be there, sharing the same moment and the same feeling together.

What is the best play time?
For me, the best play time is peak time, 2 or 3am. That’s when the energy is at its highest, everyone is fully in it, and the dance floor just feels alive.
