This is a fashion story based on a boy who built his own rockets in the 1960s and later became a maverick engineer at NASA.
Photographed in collaboration with Nasa in Huntsville, Alabama, where one of Nasa’s space centres is still active today. The NASA culture inspired a generation of space cadets from the 1950s.
