Il mito di Partenope impasta l’inedito duo di Eks e SEC_ per nastri e giradischi. Con Eraclio invece ascoltiamo seduti la voce del mondo, bevendo rosato.

Vi accogliamo dalle 18, la musica inizia alle 19 e chiudiamo alle 21.

Inedito duo di nastri e giradischi da parte di SEC_ & Eks, funghetti della scena elettronica napoletana. L’incontro risale agli anni 2010 con la condivisione del KU studio, luogo di produzione di musica e laboratorio di idee ed eventi legati alla sperimentazione sonora. Dopo anni di esperienze e ricerche individuali e comuni, la loro collaborazione si rinnova con il progetto AKHET, piattaforma curatoriale che vede coinvolti anche Augusto Fabio Cerqua e Eraclio Pagliuca. Sebbene abbiano più volte collaborato su disco o dietro la consolle da dj, Brigantino vedrà il loro primo concerto in duo. SEC_ al registratore a bobine ed Eks ai giradischi ingaggeranno una challenge nella manipolazione del supporto fisico. Scratch e montaggi in tempo reale con un piglio frenetico e muscolare, in un viaggio scatenato tra vinili martoriati e nastri destrutturati. Un’esplorazione sonora di archivi materiali e immaginari.

Eraclio genera set che rifiutano forma e funzione: niente beatmixing, niente narrazione. Solo residui emotivi, materiali eterogenei. Un linguaggio instabile, guidato da un editing istintivo e più simile al cut-up che alla composizione lineare.
La sua estetica sonora si allinea con i percorsi frammentati del noise americano, dell’audio mimica e del sound collage.

Vita Romantica è un progetto di pubblicazioni audio. Una mini label che raccoglie interventi, pensieri e progetti sonori che circolano insieme a Edizioni Brigantino. Pomeridiana è invece una collezione di appuntamenti al pomeriggio o poco più tardi, nello Studio Brigantino, di suono, di ascolto, di assaggi e di legami.

𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠: 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒂 is a mini-series exploring the exciting area beyond the boundaries of the common sense of “music”

𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 is a multidisciplinary artist and alchemist of thought. His artistic research practice uses media such as performance, film, writing and especially his own body, as a conduit between invisible forces, socio-political structures and mythologies. He uses improvisation techniques based on voice and movement to harness and disperse the force of chaos as an artistic object and subversive methodology

𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 is a metamorphic entity emerging from the rubble. It manifests itself among frigid debris and the pale glow of a solitary lighthouse. A disfigured reinterpretation of avant-garde black metal, ambient and power electronics, Diamantista’s performance emerges from the viscera. As if trapped in a liminal space between two worlds, tears of guitar and voice evoke a vivid wound, a distant and confused dream

𝐄𝐤𝐬 is the moniker of Guido Marziale, producer, sound engineer and founder of the curatorial platform and record label AKHET. Eks stands out for a style that blends reminiscences of hip hop, dub and noise, characterized by the frenetic manipulation of samples and vinyl with a strong attitude to improvisation

Join us for a free tour of the museum and aperitivo before the concerts begins. Doors open at 8PM, the show will start at 9PM.

🔉 excited to present our last seasonal chapter with the legendary Michigan-based band Wolf Eyes on May 31st at @auditoriumnovecento , for their only gig in Italy and first time ever in Napoli.
Sharing the stage with them, two generation of noisers and weird sound researcher from the city: Aspec(t), pioneers of tumultuous Neapolitan avant-garde reunited after years and Radford Electronics revived polyhedral project by Guido Marziale aka Eks and Aaron Rumore.

Doors open: 21.00, start: 21.30.

For this occasion, we invited our in-house duo Radford Electronics ( @gui_eks + @aaronrumore ) that brings us an hour long mixtape made up by their whole sound tools and research that stretches down the plurality of the elements that builds their sound. Sometimes idiosincratic, sometimes harsh, they found the pleasure in the unpleasant, shifting through Americanoise to obscure Memphis Rap, goin’ through Harsh Electronics, weird Art Rock, post Trap and Computer Music, founding their balance in the middle of everything. Post everything music shuffling in their ears from the very beginnin’ of their collaboration (2014) and spanning through years ‘till now, somehow this mixtape summarizes their whole life research as listeners and friends.
