Our good friends from Bristol, Realist Alive, join forces with London’s PETRICHOR, bringing to Exchange’s main room a line-up of electronic mavericks both long-tenured and burgeoning. Nairobi’s unmissable Slikback descends for a solo live debut after shattering Loco Klub last year alongside Aïsha Devi. SVBKVLT’s Hyph11e delivers her iridescent bass-driven style of industrial dance. Paris’ prey coded debuts in the UK as one of contemporary dance music’s more alarming, admirable and inscrutable newcomers.

Slikback [live] - @slikback is an experimental electronic producer from Nairobi, Kenya. Racking up a decade now of genreless, inimitable releases, characterised by the absorption of anything and everything from Gqom, hardcore techno, trap and dubstep, entwining Pan-African instrumentation with some of the fiercest low-end punishment worldwide, he is a titan of club music equal parts radically deconstructed and fearlessly personal.

Slikback arrives to Bristol for a live solo debut off the back of 2025’s Attrition on Planet Mu, a record that melded sensitive moments of orchestral ambience, exploratory soundscapes and Slikback’s bass music iconoclasm. Few records in recent memory have been more immediate proofs of an artist’s singularity, as Attrition’s generic dexterity and visual flair combine with each track generating a world uniquely its own. Smoke-laden sci-fi speedcore, blends of baile funk and gabber seemingly voiced from the wreckage of a spacecraft, ludic dreamscapes. Slikback is essentially an artist whom words cannot contain.

Hyph11e - Primarily associated with Shanghai-born, UK-based label SVBKVLT, @hyph11e has long practiced an original mode of bass music, integrating industrial atmospherics with the hyperactive patterns of drum and bass and footwork. An international act, she has played from Dekmantel to Rewire, regularly showcasing her uniquely dystopic style across Asia and Europe.

The bill features the UK debut of Parisian super-talent @_preycoded + PETRICHOR head-honcho @kaitrwu & Bristol’s qwerty-uiop going b2b with Realist co-founder tskali.

Drawing from a diverse palette of genres, including techno, industrial, ambient, and metal, Jakarta-based experimental electronic artist Dylan Amirio, conveys a dark, heavy sound shaped by the cacophonous urban environments of his hometown and beyond under the name Logic Lost /// @logiclost

2025's release Disposable Gods is an exploration of the concept of power and the cyclical nature of oppression. The themes in Logic Lost’s music draw from personal, collective, and observational experiences rooted in a perspective stemming from his Indonesian heritage. His music aims to convey a sonic interpretation of the human condition in environments shaped by failed systems and cruel societal barriers, serving both as a protest against harsh realities and a cathartic release.

Following February’s sell-out debut as collaborators, @glitch.cool & Realist Alive pair again for a return leg in Brum, taking over @centrala_space for an evening of destructive computer music & glitched-out imagination.

The bill sees recent ATC luminary, Jakarta’s Logic Lost debuting in the city as part of a UK tour, bringing their jagged, apocalyptic sound reconstituting the possibility-spaces of techno and breakbeat. Disposable Gods was one of 2025’s most essential records, abrading dancefloor rhythms for an acerbic screed against the hollow icons of the now.

LL is supported from Bristol by 祐曦 Yau Hei and Silver Waves. 祐曦 Yau Hei interweaves trance, deconstructed club & avant-garde composition into a live set equal parts fantastical and cerebral. Silver Waves embodies a long-developed coagulation of industrial found-sound and unreadable percussion, conjuring future-sonics from the musical shards of an oneiric present. Two super-talents with their inimitable idiolects, arriving to Brum off recent shows both international and local.

glitch.cool call up Thorjn & juha. to complete the bill. Back last Winter, Thorjn seemed to have reached a culmination with the magisterial Through the Crystal Window, distilling years of work into an album turning influence from new age, IDM and hyperglitch into something entirely his own. TTCW turned out merely to be the starting point, as followed the NOVOPANGEA EP & a further album, Somewhere, incorporating explorations of both computational noise & low-fidelity sound collage.

What is juha. but another prodigy from the ranks of gc? On 2023’s unreason and empty space they stretched ambient to its most eschatological regions while retaining it an urgent intimacy. Their unique approach pairs an operatic sublimity with glitchwise reinterpretations of the UK bass continuum & hip-hop. They ramp up now for a second album, The Fires This Time on glitch.cool. May 16 sees their Birmingham debut amidst this deserved momentum.

"As We Polish This Rock, It Loses Its Memory by Axel Helios is a real-time interactive work situated between installation and immersive cinema. The piece examines the entanglement of technology, collective memory, and the perpetual reconfiguration of narratives in the contemporary era.

Here, the audience is not simply positioned as spectator, but becomes an active agent within the work through the manipulation of analog devices installed at the center of the dome. These interventions generate real-time shifts in the visual and sonic environment, drawing on forms of control historically exerted by humans over nature. The work retains an underlying narrative structure, while the synchronicity between that narrative and the visual field is continuously modulated through public interaction."
