Bonnie MacRae helps Refuge highlight that even dream homes can become a nightmare.

@bonmacrae’s latest film ‘Home is Where the Hurt Is’, was made with @revolt.global for the domestic abuse charity @refugecharity. This estate agent tour with a twist raises awareness around the sad truth that statistically, the most dangerous place for a woman is her own home.

Launched in the run up to International Women’s Day, the film was made with a 95% female crew, featuring actor @fizzyflea. Following IWD, the campaign will go directly to the Houses of Parliament and will ask members of the public to sign an open letter calling on Sir Keir Starmer to plug the funding shortfall in domestic abuse accommodation services (£55.5m per year).
