Building phase:- eating 3700 cals a day hasn’t been easy for me at all.
Stress / food anxiety with unknown skin triggers / not being properly prepared etc …the excuses are endless. (Aye @cain_choiceperformance 😂)

Regardless I’ve been cramming in food and training whenever I can. Trying to remember I’m doing all this for no particular reason but to better myself in mind and body and keep my nose out of trouble, which I can safely say works pretty well. (9 times out of 10 🤔)

I started my gym journey in my mid 30s for mental health reasons. Now I’m just loving the process, I am happy where I am at today at 40 Years young.

Got my boy Blue back for the weekend and had to remind him what a leg session was. Started well and ended badly 😂 @blueyofficial

Contrary to popular belief - I’m no expert 😂 …but one thing I don’t hear people talk about enough, when it comes to to training, is environment. Find a place where people lift and encourage you. Best thing I did when I felt flat is leave my commercial gym and get into a proper gym- @studio1_fitness - full of amazing like minded people like this legend and weapon @simonobrien2020 gassing me up.

@cain_choiceperformance got me into a place where Inot only enjoy every workout but am proud of what we achieved in a year. I trained for 6 years prior to getting proper coaching and guidance doing what I thought were all the right things. With some small but very important changes and details I’m starting to get what it actually takes for proper growth (especially at 40 years old😩) devil is in the detail. #push #gym #fitat40
