Hi all my people, I wanted to tell you I am really looking forward to our first Boulder area ticketed farm dinner this year at @crookedrootsfarm - because I love what they do and who they are; they have been providing me @foragesisters with magical produce, eggs and meat for a few seasons now and wow! I hope you can come join us in their field overlooking the flat irons June 18th. Some of the money goes to the farm (because as I learned myself farming, it helps to have a diversified income - support good farms any way you can!!) and some money will go to @slowfoodboco - we love Slow Food in general as it helps us all reorganize around local food economies that are healthy for people and the earth.

I am really* excited about the menu- if you have dietary restrictions we can accomodate them - no problem- if you email us. Come enjoy the awesome Forage team doing their thing and know the ticket price is going to a lot of good. More than ever it is important to support our local food producers and the people who are bringing awareness to what “good-clean-fair” food is.

A link to the ticket site is on the Crooked Roots Farm website, as well as in the Forage Sisters link in our bio.

These photos were taken by our awesome friend @themillennialcatalog on site @saltandacres and @tlazy7_weddings 💕

I feel happy and humbled by all of the years of support. Though the industrialized world and its benefactors have revealed their truly brutal and ugly colors more clearly, broadly and exactly over the last few years, I feel like I know myself, my community, “the Good” and the truly valuable things in life more than ever. For me, gathering around a table with our friends, family, kids & neighbors breaking bread and supporting the beauty in our community feels like the center of what will heal us all. Be together! Help one another! Don’t forget to eat!
😘

Ps. I had a real Cameron-Winter-winter this winter: because love takes miles, love takes years.

Exciting news! We’ve always wanted to host a farm dinner here at Crooked Roots, and this June, Forage Sisters will be bringing their field kitchen to our pastures. They believe the table is a sacred space to slow down, share stories, and rediscover what connects us, and we’re so excited to have them here.

@foragesisters specialize in traditional methods of cooking, preparing their dishes from scratch and incorporating their love for live-fire cooking. They care deeply about where their ingredients come from, focusing on the highest-quality, farm-fresh products they can find. This dinner is especially meaningful, as most of the ingredients will be harvested by us, your farmers, and we couldn’t be more excited.

…and speaking of eating local, a portion of each ticket is donated to @slowfoodboco , a nonprofit dedicated to food that is good, clean, and fair for all. To complement the evening’s menu, wine service is included with your seat, featuring a selection of pours chosen to highlight the flavors of the season.

As long as the weather holds, we’ll host the dinner out in our pasture, with our veggie field on one side, our sheep on the other, and a stunning view of the Flatirons to the west. This is a great opportunity to get dressed up with the people you love and enjoy a beautiful, five course seasonal feast under the open sky.

Event Details:
•Thursday, June 18th from 5:00–8:00 PM
•Location: 4601 Oxford Road, Longmont, Colorado
•Cost: $155 per person + taxes/fees

Tickets are available on our website at CrookedRootsFarm.com under Events, as well as in our Instagram bio.

The stunning photos above are from previous Forage Sisters events. Everything they create is magical and we’re so lucky to be working with the owners, Nicole and Mirasol. Give @foragesisters a follow for updates on all of their events!

The menu will be released soon!
(Dietary restrictions can be accommodated for)

•Location: 4601 Oxford Road, Longmont, Colorado
•Cost: $155 per person + taxes/fees

That time we made a huge custom sandwich 🫶🏻

When the sweetest couple asks for a giant Italian sub in lieu of a wedding cake, you find a way to do it 🫡🇮🇹🫒

We had to have the board it was served on custom milled and finished! The incredible loaf was made with locally milled flour and baked by our awesome friends @mountainoven 💕 THANKS FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE❤️‍🔥

We are so lucky to get to do things like this!

If you have a special event coming up and are looking for food, service, details or delivery that’s extra special, let us know. We still have some early and late season 2026 slots available in our calendar and are about to open our 2027 books- we are so excited to hear about what you’re thinking!

We are a full service caterer- and many clients are curious what that means when they initially reach out.

Full service to us means:
🥕we are making custom menus based on our clients, their guests, the location, the time of year, and we manage the on-site timelines around those menus and execution
🔪we are preparing that food live on site, for an elevatedmeal experience
👯‍♀️we are managing our staffing so our clients have our awesome, professional team who know how to take care of the party, start to finish, set-up to clean-up
🍽️we are coordinating on all logistics and rentals for the entire event, so that whether it’s just us or a large team of vendors, it’s going to be a smooth day
✨we are resetting the venue and rentals so that everything is better than before we arrived when we are leaving
🥂our full service team elevates the entire day so that each element is considered and the flow of the day before- during and after is seamless

We still have some precious spots in our 2026 calendar, we look forward to hearing from you so we can help you create an awesome day.

We are Mirasol and Nicole! Two friends from foodie/restaurant families -ourselves also chefs- we’re (mostly) extroverted, detailed-oriented, gathering planners- we are dear friends, honorary members of one another’s families and have had this business formally nearly eight years.

Thanks for supporting us; when we started this business we wanted to support ourselves by gathering people around tables together with beautiful local food. The dream continues.

Since we have a lot of new followers here is a little behind the scenes look at us at events over the years.

Cheers!

@paulabphoto took this photo of us outside of Aspen at a really special event we did a few summers ago for @secret_supper - it was a dream come true.

-

We are still booking 2026 and will open our 2027 books in March! Thank you everyone for reaching out.

A beautiful fall day with M & W 🩷 in Marble, CO

Rain poured down on us and the mountains before the sun broke through during the ceremony and showed us how it had capped the peaks all around- so so gorgeous. We love outfit changes! Bacess dresses! Film photos! Muddy shoes! Toasts! Family dogs as guests! Amazing bands making the dance party lit ❤️‍🔥
