On Saturday, March 28th, I’ll be playing @observe_la for the very first time. This is a really special honor for me, as someone who has always had a deep attachment to and fondness for Los Angeles’ incredible techno scene.

When I first moved to Los Angeles in January 2016, @drumce11 and @truncate_la’s shows were some of the first I was drawn to, having seen them both play as Cell Injection at Movement Detroit the previous year, where I became an instant fan. I was at everything from the Interface parties to the Black Noise shows at Lot 613 back then. Always too shy to really talk much to anyone, but I was there on the regular - smiling, getting lost in the crowd, and leaving with records in hand from the merch booth. If you were in LA during that era and into techno, then you know how sick those parties were!

Every once in a while, you might hear a DJ talk about “full circle moments” - this is definitely one for me. I’ve been selecting records since I found out. 🖤

Thank you to the whole @observe_la team. Looking forward to warming up the night on such a special lineup. 🖤
