Last day to see Garth Thompson-Vieira’s show Accolades from the Tactile @entity_editions. I’ll be here noon-3pm. Still plenty of small paintings and prints available!

Much of why I love collaborating with artists is finding that wedge that opens a new approach to their work. Garth really did that, earnestly and enthusiastically. Tomorrow night will mean a lot to both of us, come through and hang with us.

Things developing with Garth Thompson-Vieira for his show opening Oct. 5th at Manager Gallery/Entity Editions. We’ve been working on a series of prints to be shown with a body of new small paintings.

@garth_goyle working on compositions for our forthcoming series of prints. Opening early October at Manager gallery, the series of large scale screen prints will accompany a selection of Garth Thompson-Vieira’s small mixed media works. More info coming soon.

JUNE SESSION Wednesday’s (5th, 12th, 19th, 26th)
JULY SESSION Wednesday’s (10th, 17th, 24th, 31st)
AUGUST SESSION Wenesday’s (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th)

TIME: 6-8:30pm

COST: $75 (college students and recent grads) $125 adults 18+ *Self-Identified BIPOCPay what you can (2-3 class spots reserved for BIPOC)

ENROLLMENT:
Maximum 6, minimum 3
Participants will gain an introduction to screen printing through a series of demos from printer and instructor Drew Peterson. We will cover water color monotype printing, hand drawn drawing fluid/ block out techniques, and photo emulsion exposure process. Note: This class focuses on printing on paper rather than textiles (t-shirts, tot bags, etc.) No experience necessary but an enthusiasm for creative learning will be a great start!

Some screens, shop equipment, and studio consumables will be supplied but participants should anticipate spending approximately $40-60 on necessary materials. A detailed and comprehensive materials list will be available prior to the class with a range of price options.
