// janus rose is a Brooklyn-based dj and synthesist. Her practice emphasizes modular synth, live hardware performances featuring club-forward sounds.

// Amigos Poderosos is the solo project of José Olivares. Blending lo-fi house, dembow, acid, and IDM, he creates hypnotic, rhythm-driven soundscapes that fuse Caribbean grooves with experimental electronic textures.

// SEV1 is Patrick Tabb, a live techno artist from NYC. He uses samplers and modular synths to improvise percussive, deep and hypnotic sets for the dance floor.

Dive into the world of live visuals in this hands-on lab. Using open-source tools, you’ll experiment with creating and manipulating real-time visuals, with guided exercises for beginners and freestyle space for advanced participants. Whether you’re new to VJing or already experimenting, you’ll build skills, collaborate with others, and get ready to showcase your work at the chip space.

Bring your own laptop to follow along and experiment live! Pico8 software will be available to install on your computer at the workshop, or you can install it ahead of time to be ready!
