I am thrilled to announce that I’m working with the brilliant Jody Corbett at Scholastic for my new middle grade fantasy series about dragons! I’ve been dying to write about dragons ever since my Dragon Egg Princess novel and I’m just so excited that Jody gave me the opportunity to return to a genre I absolutely adore and write about Asian dragons! My absolutely stunning book cover is by the incredibly talented artist Eunhye Cho @gukkhwa and my brilliant book designer the amazing Stephanie Yang @stephyangdesign. Sweet sweet fantasy baby!!!

I’m excited to announce a new middle grade book coming out March 2nd, 2027! Sarah in Charge is about 12 yr old Sarah whose life is disrupted when her grandmother gets romance scammed, loses all her money and home, and moves in to Sarah’s house. It’s based on the real life experiences of my own mother who lost her life savings and home to elder fraud. It was a truly devastating time but I was able to channel all my grief and rage into a novel that I hope will resonate with readers.

Loved seeing @madeleinechinwrites when I went up to Great Neck South for a school visit!! Had the most amazing dinner with her and her parents!! And then came back to Lady Gaga with @philbildner and my oldest @summeroh.no and it was phenomenal!!!
