Just as the music on @dudeksounds upcoming album 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 was created in the here and now, it was the same with the cover: it came about during an improvised session in photographer Niclas Weber’s studio. Without a fixed concept, without a pre-determined plan.

The images show 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐤 in the midst of the process. The focus wasn’t on the finished result, but on the creative process itself: The trial and error, the discarding and the refinement. A cover that captures a snapshot in time.

Rather than being recorded in a studio, it was captured live at the band’s very first concert at @jaki.klub. Two days of rehearsals, no long-standing band history, no retakes. Just risk, energy and maximum presence. It is precisely this openness that defines the entire album.

With @dudeksounds, @ruthgoller, @felix_hauptmann and @leifberger, four distinct voices from the European scene come together to develop a sound that constantly rebalances structure and freedom.

Fun fact: drummer Leif Berger played the entire concert with a hand splint, due to a minor skateboarding accident shortly before the gig. 🛹🥁🤯
