I had a bad run of luck lately on the health front. It’s a work in progress, but when things grind to a halt it reminds you just how lucky you are when your body does work well and how we shouldn’t take it for granted.I’m so glad that my daughter is growing up in a generation that celebrates and understands good nutrition, mental health and values a strong, fit body- unlike my teenage years that celebrated a ‘heroine chic’ look that I would never achieve- Thank God. Through this spell of bad health, after feeling sorry for myself, I started the fight back and gratitude.
