Stává se ti někdy, že se rytmus obyčejné konverzace najednou změní v tlumený bzukot a prostor nasycený slovy postrádá sebemenší náznak porozumění?
Ve svém sólovém projektu Tone-Deaf Bianka Chladek archivuje, reorganizuje a přetváří nalezené obrazy „sociální hluchoty“ do textilních objektů, do nichž vplétá nové příběhy zakódované ve svém vlastním polofolklórním jazyce.

Do you ever find that the rhythm of ordinary conversation suddenly changes into a muffled buzz, and the space saturated with words lacks even the slightest hint of understanding?
In her solo project Tone-Deaf, Bianka Chladek archives, reorganizes, and transforms found images of “social deafness” into textile objects, into which she weaves new stories encoded in her own semi-folkloric language.
The project is supported by the City of Brno and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

je kurátorka a kritička současného umění. Vystudovala Dějiny umění na FF UK @ff_cuni a magisterské studium Teorie a dějin moderního a současného umění na UMPRUM v Praze @umprum_praha @teorie_umprum. Momentálně je doktorandkou na Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze @avu_prague, kde se věnuje zkoumání projevů romantismu v současném umění a vizuální kultuře. Spolupracuje s magazíny Art+Antiques @artcasopis, Artalk.cz @artalk_info nebo Flash Art CZ/SK @flashart.czech.slovak, kde taky působí v redakční radě. S Lumírem Nyklem @l0umeau připravili několik nezávislých kurátorských projektů, jako například Kozel-Alkazar pro Zaazrak Dornych v Brně (2020) @zaazrak_dornych, Dandies Loiter Through the Night v Garage Gallery v Praze (2021) @garagegallery_prague nebo Všechno kromě lži na zámku Klenová v rámci galerie Klatovy/Klenová (2023) @galerieklenova. Od roku 2023 vede galerii Holešovická šachta v Praze @holesovickasachta, kde pravidelně připravuje výstavy propojující české a zahraniční umělce*kyně. Poliačková je držitelkou XII. Ceny Věry Jirousové (2021) pro začínající kritiky a kritičky, její vítězný text Hľadanie strateného Boha je k přečtení na Blogu CVJ, stejně jako její další příspěvek Vedia kritici*čky memovať?
