Zen Garden Japanese Style Rice Lager label design for our dear friends @drinkfassbeer.

Brewed with two thirds of the palest Weyermann Pilsner malt and one third flaked rice, it strikes a delicate balance, lighter than a Pilsner, but more characterful than macro lagers. The rice, inspired by Japanese brewers from the 1800s until the present day, lends a subtle elegance reminiscent of sake.

Zen Garden is hopped with Sorachi Ace for cedar and citrus notes, and a touch of Hallertau Blanc for a whisper of white wine. Fermented with Fass’s house Augustiner strain and lagered for 10 weeks, the result is a crisp, refined beer with quiet complexity.
