Sean Thomas and I shot this story for EE72 over the course of 5 days last summer in Paris. I scooped my favorite haute couture looks straight from the runways and we traveled throughout the city in our fabulous fashion van with Adut Akech and Bibi Breslin, stopping at some of our favorite spots in Paris along the way. From Giambattista Valli’s floral bouquet at the Louvre at 6am, to Iris van Herpen’s sculptural masterpiece in the center of Place Vendome (which had to travel on a rack by foot in order to arrive there as it was too wide to fit inside a car!), Schiaparelli floating across the tables of Cafe de Flore, to Mr Armani’s final couture collection appearing for after hours jazz at Les Duc des Lombards and Cafe Paulette, Maison Margiela at the carnival inside the Tuileries, a Chanel fountain prance, and every preview, atelier, and show in between, WE HAD A BALL!
