More difficult than I thought. A lot of measurements and downsize the torso in a proportional way.

During the spring term, I had the opportunity to sculpt a female bust in clay. The focus was on creating soft, feminine forms and flowing lines, inspired by a classical cast (possibly a cast coming from Rome).

On the final day of working on this piece, my dad was in the last stages of his battle with cancer. Because of that, this small study will always hold something much deeper for me.

I want to remember him as something bright and untamed a shining, crazy diamond, scattering light, life and kindness everywhere.

After 4 beautiful years at Framestore working as a Creature Character modeller, last month it was my last day at the studio.
