The ‘90s were absolute cinema 🎬

The Boroughs, a new sci-fi series from Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, with Special Visual Effects and Animation by ILM, arrives on Netflix May 21.

Anytime "Jurassic Park (1993)" is brought up, it's usually the CGI that gets mentioned. And while it's for good reason, the effect that it had on the entire industry is equally as important.

Going into production, it was never intended for CGI to be used that heavily. Most people don't know that the master @madphilg was supposed to do the dinosaurs with "GOMOTION" for the film. However, once the CGI was able to handle the effects, there was no need for those methods anymore. But because Phil and his team were master animators of the physical dinosaurs, they were able to assist with the computer animations. And they were still a HUGE reason why the final film looks so good.
