Today, we stand together in sorrow and anger over the murder of yet another trans woman. This tragic loss is a sharp and painful testament to the injustice and violence that trans women face every day.

Trans women are systematically treated unfairly at all levels of our society – from the healthcare system to the job market, from the legal system to social networks. Discrimination and violence are, unfortunately, a part of daily life for many, and it is unacceptable.

But this fight is far from over. In fact, it has only just begun. We must stand together, raise our voices, and fight for justice, equal rights, and safety for all trans people.

Let us honor the memory of those we have lost by continuing the struggle for a world where all people, regardless of gender identity, can live freely and safely.
