Cold War Steve is a prolific artist from Birmingham, known for his surreal, satirical and dystopian photomontages which comment on current politics. A Brummie artist on stage at BDF? We can’t wait.

Nellie Scott will be talking all things Corita Kent, known as the pop art nun (1918-1986). A world changer, educator and advocate of social justice, Sister Corita inspired her students, encouraged activism and frankly, created groundbreaking work which continues to motivate a whole new generation of creatives.

Led by Donkeys have been making waves since 2019 with their high-profile, satirical and artistic billboard campaigns. From guerrilla paste-ups to huge high-profile projections, they’ve created some of the most memorable images of our political age. This is a rare public group appearance and we’re ecstatic that they’re joining us for 2026!

This World Art Day, we’re buzzing to share that the brilliant ‘Sheffield - It’s Alright’ has been acquired for the city’s art collection and is now on display in the Gordon Bridge Gallery: Picturing Sheffield at Weston Park Museum! 🖼️💛

Originally commissioned for last year’s @gettogetherfest as part of ‘Sheffield Inspires’, @coldwarsteve created this striking artwork inspired by the people, places and unsung heroes of the city.

The title comes from the late Steve Mackey of @welovepulp, who once perfectly summed up Sheffield’s habit of downplaying the things we love the most as simply being “alright”.

It’s the same creativity and sense of community that Get Together celebrates, returning to Kelham Island and Neepsend with an incredible lineup of music on Saturday 16 May! 🥳🎶
