We've nearlly came to an end (or a starting point) of the publication of Document Your Culture Japan. As our first edition, we will print and bind up 300 copies by hand. It will be sold as part of @slow_stream event and I, Satoko Akune will be holding a talk session about the publication from 11:30am 22nd Sunday. Come say hi if you are around😉📚

Although the area has a strong izakaya culture unique to Japan, it is actually known among music lovers as an area with a high concentration of jazz cafes. In addition to this base, many new music bars, clubs, and ‘hi-fi’ listening bars have recently opened, adding new attractions to the area. One of the best things about Noge is that these notable spots are all within walking distance of each other. Because of the unique and quietly hidden charm of this area, i hope you enjoy everything it has to offer, while respecting the local community vibe, but i also really wanted to share my love for the area and so i decided to publish this Noge issue.

Although i was not 100% sure if nightlife, clubs, music can be an appropriate theme to research, it has always been a thing that i love to do and it was how i got connected to the local community and to the world. Even the unfamiliar city can be navigable through these acts and i guess thats what i'd like to express through my projects.
