OUT OF MY MIND IS OFFICIALLY YOURS.

I wrote this song in almost its entirety by speaking a voice memo on a drive from NYC > BOS at 3am in the morning.

I just like reiterating that Wish You Well felt like an opportunity to kick down the proverbial door and share a rager of a song after 4 years of not releasing new music.

This song feels almost more important, because - to me - it feels like confirmation that we aren’t about to stop anytime soon.

That being said - taking the opportunity to bask in the glory of this Mumfordy/Chris Stapletony/Noah Kahany/angsty banger about feeling invisible and alone. Can’t wait to see the playlists y’all add it to and hopefully the videos of y’all enjoying it.

Wish You Well, the new single from Jake Swamp and The Pine, is officially yours. Wish You Well is the debut single from our new record, and we are beyond thrilled to share this song - and continue sharing new music - with you all.

This song feels a bit like a statement - a re-introduction to Jake Swamp and The Pine. An opportunity to share with you a caliber of writing that I feel like I haven’t reached before in terms of the vulnerability and honesty I’m putting into the lyrics, and the scrutiny and collaboration we’re putting into the production.

It’s an ode to the music that made me want to write; The Lumineers (specifically their first self titled record), Mumford and Sons (specifically Sigh No More), Hozier, and more.

It’s a song I hope you scream at the top of your lungs while you’re driving on the highway with your windows down.

Just in time for the weekend.

New beginnings are complicated. They can be sad, exciting, stressful - wrapped up in anxiety and opportunity. They can be a defining moment, or a moment we refuse to let define us. My next record is about all the messy new beginnings in all their various forms; a relationship ending or starting, or reframing your relationship with something intangible to give it a fresh and new perspective. This record is a new beginning for JSATP within itself - an opportunity to share with you all my most vulnerable, honest, and thoughtful music yet. The debut single Wish you well, will be yours March 27. And I genuinely; wish you well.

A solo I was proud of a few weeks ago with the great @julie.rhodes . I feel super lucky I’ve gotten the chance to play with this band a lot recently. Julie and her players are incredible and I learn a ton every gig. On this night I was fortunate to share the stage with greats @mikemurdockdrums @jordangravel and @rocktorium_records in addition to the usual suspects.
