After a super busy month, I’m really happy to finally be sharing some pics / vids from my set at @junction_2 for @beatport.

I honestly couldn’t believe that I’d won a slot on the lineup alongside 12 others, out of over 1K entries. It’s really cemented that I’m on the right track, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

Here’s a mashup I put together in the last couple of weeks for my DJ sets - it’s been a fun little side project to work on as the new movie’s released & everyone’s talking about MJ again. Now felt like the perfect time to finally share it.

Some of you might recognise the backbone of the mashup… Le Knight Club - Mosquito, a Crydamoure classic from 1999.

Turns out it works perfect with Off the Wall, the title track from Michael Jackson’s 1979 album.

The new single from @cheersdj merges his love for 80s drum patterns / synths, with his iconic treatment of French House inspired chops & pitch bends.

“This single drop was a surprise even to me - I sat down one night to mess with some 80s samples after feeling inspired by a @cococlairclair track, and by the morning I had this. Definitely the quickest turnaround for me - the whole process took under 24hrs.”

“I love the finished product though, and I hope you guys do too. I think that’s there’s something to be said about a piece of work coming together so quickly - it’s definitely when I find myself having the most fun.”

@interlectra is a new friend of the label. He’s been dropping French House bangers for the last 3/4 years, with each release showcasing a clear progression in his style / production. He’s another artist to keep a close eye on.
