When we turned this three-bedroom house into a restaurant, we wanted to create something that felt truly special. Not just a place to dine, but a space that carries a sense of home — one that changes with the weather and time of day, and gently shapes the experience from the moment you walk in. We designed it to feel warm and welcoming, while quietly showcasing the fermented ingredients we make in-house, so that being surrounded by them becomes part of the story. At the same time, it needed to work for us — practical during service, yet somewhere we can unwind once it’s over. In the end, it’s a space that holds both sides of our life, and hopefully leaves a lasting impression on those who pass through it.
