Sometimes it takes awhile for the dust of the holiday season to finally settle. Don’t get me wrong, it was beautiful and glittery dust that left me in a wake of thankfulness.
FINALLY looking back over the past year, I’m filled with pride for the array of projects I’ve gotten to be a part of, but probably none as much as the two films for  @hebOur Texas, Our Future and @finandfurfilms.

This one is “Ranching with Ocelots”
Fewer than 120 ocelots remain in the U.S.A.—and they’re all in deep South Texas. Their future depends on the ranchers & researchers working to create a sustainable agriculture system for both cattle & wildlife.

What made this experience so important to me was more than just getting to support a brand that I believe in and who has endlessly poured resources back into the communities that shaped me, but to get to help tell wild stories that ARE WORTH TELLING! The amazing stewards at @eastfoundation are doing incredible work, so to spend a small slice of life in their world and capture their perspective is exactly what drew me to filmmaking. And can only hope for more.

Mad props to director @shannonvandivier and producer @josh_winkler for letting me play a small part. Shannon, @brianfreemanphoto and @tyler_domingue along with @christian_von_preysing for killer camera work. And for editors Blake Campbell and Shannon bringing the footage to life.

@coldcollaborative and I spent the weekend chatting Leadville 100 MTB, my full-time @srammtb Engineering career, and how the heck I got into bike racing at the highest level in North America. 🚴‍♀️

After the massive Leadville stage climbing up to 12,500ft of the Columbine Mine, I spent the afternoon putting in some extra laps to showcase my @rockshox Flight Attendant system. 🤘🎬

Looking forward to the “big one” in 10 days and then finally, the full race highlights of Leadville a short 48 hours later. 🍿🎞️

A 2023 highlight from the Texas gulf!

Boone’s first little river swim. Had to squeeze a dip in before it gets too cold.

It's hard to believe our Boone is finally home! I’ve never been happier to lose so much sleep 😊
His entrance into this world was, in a word, profound. His mom and I are just blown away by the love and prayers from around the world that ushered in his arrival. We feel so covered and, at the same time, acutely aware that there are others still fighting for hope (including some of Boone’s roommates still in the NICU).
To our family, friends, and those in that beautiful gray area in between - thank you, thank you, thank you, for being a part of this kid's incredible destiny. We can't wait to see what the Lord has in store - both FOR him and THROUGH him.
