Sirens in the Deep is the lovechild of a live jam session at Rackz282’s studio between Rackz and @eyezabsc. The session was recorded in late September 2023, to then be exported and moulded and shaped into two individual yet single source tracks, showing both artist’s approach at the medium.
Using the same base material, this EP is an exploration of each artist’s approach and perspective on a condensation of hardware stems and sounds. Sirens in the Deep explores long and progressive motifs that evolve, twist, turn and intesifiy throughout; reflecting the fathomless depths of the creative process.

For those who haven’t seen so far, this project birthed from a huge 4 hour live jam Rackz282 and I had at his studio in Bristol, when we finished we took the stems of the session away and crafted 2 individual beats from the source material as the concept for our collab EP - both display our individual characteristics and how we approach conception and creation. SIRENS IN THE DEEP (coming July 24th!) - The making of AND the test run!!!
BSC006 - The making of this piece was such a fun process, just a 4+ hour jam session at @rackz282 ‘s studio in Bristol. @eyezabsc came from London for a session and the results ended up being so slamming, both artists took the recorded stems away and crafted two tunes from the same source material from various parts of the jam.
This EP shows the difference in Artist process birthing from the same source material. That night they also took it down on Stokes Croft at the infamous Take 5 Cafe for @nscnuisance ‘s party and gave it the official road test 🏎️🏎️🏎️
