There’s a hidden creek in North Coburg, flowing beneath parkland all the way to Murray Road.

Join @annieartworking and @riasoemardjo for a guided walk uncovering its story through music, conversation, and creative activities.

We’ll connect with local trees, experiment with bark inks, and reflect on caring for the waterways of Naarm.

A relaxed Saturday morning walk, with an indoor option if it rains.

Join Annie to ‘draw’ a bit of bush with kangaroo grass, naturally dyed wool tops, silk thread and cotton. Learn the simple basics of nuno felting.

Materials provided. Take home some wool tops to try if you’d like :)

We’ll get soapy so bring rubber gloves. Also old towels for water spills if you have any.

‘together’ offers folk coming along to UNFURL a diverse program of plant-centred making activities, with different artist-facilitators each week. And offers artist-facilitators a supportive space to grow their facilitation practice at the meeting place of nature-connectedness and creative process 🌱

Full-term sign ups are available. And single sessions are currently available for April. I’ll make the May single sessions available soon.

Oh the week's around Easter go so quickly! Want to say how much I enjoyed offering the workshop 'The Mother daughter terrain'@kategorringesmith exhibition 'Absence of Presence' honouring her mum. 💛

Using the medium of handmade books in a exhibition is a favourite of mine. Participants draw out aspects of the exhibited work and amplify them. I find the exhibition takes on a new vividness.

Everyone used thread and stitch in some way - very women's lineage!

On that note I adored the work with cast glass needle spools. Oh oh oh! Also including Kate's mum's drawings of Kate's hands. Deeply moving and resonant of our always becoming creative. 🔆
