SO @bransonschool ASK ME TO WRITE ON ETHICAL LEADERSHIP… RIGHT

This was a journey, not only in the story I was asked to cover, but the writing itself. I have always found writing to be one of the hardest, all encompassing creative endeavors I do (and writing my first book was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done). It might be my process - but I have to take in all the sources and influences first. Then I kinda write the whole thing in my head before I ever take on that blank page. It’s got to all make sense or I can’t even start. Not sure if this is normal, but it is my normal.

Big thanks to the folks over at Branson, not only the advancement team who thought of me in the first place, but also the students, faculty, alums and head of school who all added to this story. Branson is a special place, and as much as I want to hate (I am a lowkey hater 😡😡👿👿) it really is. Not only the academic space, but the environment, the approach and the special people there across the board. Having this privilege, for free no less, is something I am greatly thankful for. And always big s/o to my parents, esp @andrealawsongray for putting me on a path to be successful.

This was a journey, not only in the story I was asked to cover, but the writing itself. I have always found writing to be one of the hardest, all encompassing creative endeavors I do (and writing my first book was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done). It’s got to all make sense or I can’t even start. Not sure if this is normal, but it is my normal.

Branson is a special place, and as much as I want to hate (I am a lowkey hater 😡😡👿👿) it really is. Not only the academic space, but the environment, the approach and the special people there across the board. Having this privilege, for free no less, is something I am greatly thankful for. And always big s/o to my parents, esp @andrealawsongray for putting me on a path to be successful.
