@tchalamet stars as a soccer fan in @adidas’ five-minute short film “Backyard Legends.”

In the story, he teams up with @trinity_rodman, @lamineyamal, and @judebellinghamto take on three street-soccer kids, with cameos from @badbunnypr, @leomessi, and @davidbeckham.

The film ties to Adidas’ “You Got This” message and focuses on playing for fun, not pressure.

It’s also the centerpiece of Adidas’ push around the 2026 @fifaworldcup in North America. As a top-tier @fifa partner, Adidas is betting big on soccer’s growing U.S. audience withHarris Poll data saying 65% of Americans now call themselves soccer fans.

Adidas North America’s svp of brand marketing Chris Murphy said the brand is putting “tremendous effort” into this moment.

Citing an estimated 235 million pounds of avocados imported to the U.S. leading up to Cinco de Mayo, @AvocadosFromMexico teamed up with @Diego Boneta to release five special flavors of guacamole.

The brand brought the flavors to Hudson Yards with a "Guaco Truck," where folks could try one of the five new recipes: Mama Boneta's Guac, Fiesta Guacamole, Roasted Corn Guacamole, Spicy Dill Pickle Guacamole, and Hot Honey Guacamole.

If chips aren't your vehicle of choice, Avocados From Mexico allowed folks to bring any dish and get it topped with one of the five flavors of guac at the truck, a situation that CEO Alvaro Luque called a "reverse food truck."

Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico's victory at the Battle of Puebla—and while it's recognized more in the U.S. than it is in Mexico, Diego Boneta will be spending the day in NYC proudly celebrating his culture.

@VoxMedia, the company known for brands like @Eater and @NYMag, is expected to unwind parts of its portfolio in the coming months via a combination of sales, spin-offs, and divestitures, according to five people familiar with the company and its finances.

Since the pandemic, the value of Vox Media has been shrinking faster than its constituent elements can be optimized, according to three of the people.

That reality spurred chief executive Jim Bankoff to begin exploring potential exit strategies for the company several years ago. The $100 million investment Vox Media received from @PenskeMedia Company in 2023, widely interpreted inside the company as a prelude to acquisition rather than a vote of confidence, has only accelerated the expectation.

“The value that these businesses once held is shrinking,” said one person close to the business. “It’s harder to compete now than ever. It doesn’t feel like it is getting more valuable.”

Vox Media declined to comment on the record.
