NEW RELEASE DAY
Genuine releases 45 minutes of brand new aggressive and pummeling material today.

The word ramshackle describes something in a state of disrepair, carelessly constructed, in collapse or loosely held together. I know I’m not the only one crumbling into dust as the world burns around us. 

There’s so much blood, sweat and tears in this collection of sonic mayhem, a cathartic experience to create as well as feel comfortable enough to share.

At times, the release is politically charged… as it should be.
>>> “You demand. Line up, flex chest, size up the rest. Tighten bootstraps. Tighten up the gaps. In shadows of fright where hatred broods, a fire ignites that fuels the mood. Fright Night isn’t to be taken light.”

The album also purges pent-up feelings of anger, sadness and confusion. There were times when I had to take a break from recording, as I was in tears.
>>> “When you were gone, life here still went on. Where were you, out at sea, sending postcards back to me. Sharing tales of strategic wins while we at home grew tall and thin… how those adventures must have been. Oh, tell me, did the firing of weapons make you grin? Where are ya now, ya lost yer crown. Where are ya now, ya can’t be found… lost at sea, miles and miles from your family.”
