First let me just say, I’m so sorry for OUR loss. This is the second legend I’ve lost and the first one I ever was thissss close to. This is a big one. But I know what to do with this.. information, now. The information you get innately from experience. Wisdom they call it. 🙇🏿‍♀️

I wanna express how happy I am to have witnessed Chelsea live her life as fearlessly as she did. No corners were cut. Everything had to be quality. And she had to make it happen now.

I was being taught to do it scared, do it sad, do it depressed. To do it sick. These are things we would say. “Do it sick”. She added that one. Chelsea was sick for 5 years.

(I want to note that we do not have an official final cause of death so we don’t have the answers to that FYI. A lot of you keep asking me what happened. I wish I could explain JUST and EXACTLY how it feels to be asked that, at all. 🙇🏿‍♀️ But yea..)

She did have a rare form of diabetes. That came with a lot. But she would do it ALL…
THROUGH it all. I watched it happen. Watched her make ways. Take ideas from her head and make it tangible. She would do it dizzy. & That’s otherworldly.

I got the call that she was gone. Passed in her sleep. Thank, God it was in ever-loving arms. I just remember feeling like my shock wasn’t genuine. I didn’t believe it. Didn’t want to. Please. Say something else. Punchline never made it out.

But I knew I had to believe it. We didn’t like to joke like that together since, Chelsea, was ill. Needless to say, the night was sleepless.

I’m happy you’re not in pain anymore, physically and emotionally. I’m happy you were figuring it out while you were here. Im happy that I loved you, and still do. I’m happy no trial was ever able to change that. You prolly know more than me Chels but my life is never going to be the same.

For some life changes just for that season. For some of us, there is no “back to regular programming”.
